“I name Tupac Shakur. Everyone knows that

“I want to grow. I want to be better. You grow. We all grow. We’re made to grow. You either evolve or you disappear”. These remarkable words were once said by a rapper/musician name Tupac Shakur. Everyone knows that Shakur was one of the most famous American rappers to have ever lived. He was more than a rapper he was a hero to many people and place as the best role model for people who looked up to him, despite the many crimes he has committed Tupac will always be recognized as a hero.Tupac in his early life was poor and so he and his mother didn’t have good places to live in as according to one source “Afeni and Tupac struggled to get by during those rough times, living in the Bronx and Harlem, at times sleeping in homeless shelters. They moved repeatedly” (“Tupac Shakur”). This proves that early in his life Tupac was born with a poor mother and had no other places to live in, making his early life very difficult. As claimed by a source, In September 1983 Shakur who was aged 12 at the time has presented a role in the 127th Street Ensemble, which was a theater group in Harlem. As Shakur started acting he felt that performing was easy and very outgoing for him (“Shakur, Tupac Amaru”). As this document states, Tupac’s acting career was very straightforward for him. When Tupac’s acting career was kicking off he stated that he was real with his fans and also gave his true intentions as he stated “I’m going to show people my true intentions, and my true heart,” he swore to Vibe. “I’m going to show them the man that my mother raised. I’m going to make them all proud” (“Tupac Shakur”). From this article, one can see that Shakur was always showing what his true intentions were when writing his music.  As explained from one source, The violent lyrics Shakur was using were constantly filled with violent, sexual, and profane language, and he always portrayed himself as a gangster, which has helped increase the number of records he sold (“Shakur, Tupac Amaru”). This shows that Tupac was using many violent words to increase the number of records that were sold. Tupac was an amazingly talented rapper, he brought amazing talents that impacted the genre hip hop and was always inspiring his fans from the music he created which made him the best rapper.Tupac Shakur was the best rapper ever and many people consider him as a hero. He made many creative songs containing strong poetry which led people to love his music. As according to one source Tupac was shown as a hero to many people “Tupac Shakur meant many things to many people. He was an artist, poet, MC, actor, hero and son” (Hall 2004). Shows that he was a hero to many people he had inspired. One source states that Tupac was a nice guy and can take problems seriously “He was the most gifted person I ever met. He could articulate serious issues so well. Tupac the gangster-rapper was just a marketing ploy used by the record companies” (Reid 1999). This means that Tupac was an honest person and can express serious issues so well despite some record companies will just take advantage of him. Established by one source, Shakur’s album reaches to No. 1 album after his death in 1996 his fans had led increase sales of 330,000 through the ending week of December 19, 1996 (Morris 2004). This means that Tupac’s fans viewed him as an extraordinary artist which drove them to buy a lot of Tupac’s albums. As one source explains, A mourning ritual that his fans/followers do is to appear at either his birthplace, his resting place, or at the scene of his death. In addition radio stations also played his top hits and memorable songs (Hughes 2003). This proves that many followers enjoy his music and will mourn his death as he still lives on as a hero.Tupac Shakur was the best rapper ever and many people consider him as a hero. Found from one source, Shakur has hurt people such as a woman in this article “Shakur was convicted of sexual abuse of a 21-yr-old woman just one day after being shot five times by robbers. He could get a sentence of up to seven years in jail, but could also get probation” (Rapper, actor Tupac Shakur leaves the hospital after shooting; found guilty of sexual assault 1994). This means that Tupac took advantage of one of his fans and was found guilty, the reason why this might not be so is that she can easily lie to the authorities and also many people were racist towards African American rappers back then so Tupac could also be innocent. According to another source, Tupac was jailed after being stopped in a car that was speeding, he was in the passenger seat as the police officer found a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun and a bag of marijuana (“Tupac Shakur jailed again on weapons, drug charges”). People can see this as Tupac being toxic and therefore a villain. The reason why he is not a villain is that it could have been the driver’s bag of weed, not Shakur’s. Also from the same source, Shakur was charged with battery as he allegedly attacked his director Allen Hughes (“Tupac Shakur jailed again on weapons, drug charges”). Tupac shouldn’t be seen as a villain because we don’t know what his true intentions were, he wouldn’t have attacked his director for no reason so he shouldn’t be seen as a villain. One source claims that a woman was almost raped by Tupac as the source stated “The woman accused the men of holding her down and forcing her to perform oral sex on two of them, including Shakur, police said. Police said she finally broke free and notified hotel security guards, who called the police” (“Shakur released on bail after sex assault charges”). The same reason for Tupac not being a villain goes for this, no one knows the full story because there are always two sides of the story. Tupac could have been accused because the woman could have wanted to seek attention or have mistaken Shakur for a random person, therefore Shakur is not a villain. In conclusion of Tupac being a villain, he is not a villain as he is always accused of crimes that may be false making Tupac still an extraordinary and inspiring hero.In conclusion, Tupac Shakur is the greatest rapper of all time and is the definitive hero. Everything he wrote and said was art, he rapped for what he believes in and is always true to himself at heart. No other rapper can ever be compared to Tupac. He will always be recognized forever as a hero. Tupac’s legacy still stays with his fans/followers all the way to this day.
