4.1 Plant Height       

The plant height
measurement was taken from the base of the plant to the longest tip of the
plant leaves and measured weekly. The graph show T1 represent Treatment 1
(control), T2 represent Treatment 2 (Organic), T3 represent Treatment 3 (NPK)
and T4 represent Treatment 4 (Organic + NPK).

Based on
the bar graph on figure 1, it show that the mean number of plant height after
the seedling transplanted into the polybag. All of the replicate shows the
constant plant height at the initial week, the differences in the value between
treatments were statistically significant over the control. On week 11 the mean
of plant height for treatment 2 (100g organic fertilizer) that use organic
fertilizer show the highest plant growth rate. The application of organic
fertilizer increase the paddy height on treatment 2 compare to treatment 4 that
used combine application of treatment (50g Organic + 50g NPK fertilizer),
similar result obtained by Siavoshi et al, (2010) Maximum plant height in 2008
was noted in plants treated with 2 ton/ha organic fertilizer (132.22cm), (Islam
et al., 2017) study reported that application of organic fertilizers and
inorganic fertilizers combined showed improved growth and the maximum plant
spread. Based on the figure 1 the growth rate performance was followed by
organic fertilizer+ NPK (92.80 cm) and NPK alone (94.79 cm), whereas the control

   The plant no of tiller counted for every plant for
11 week of data collection,  The graph
show T1 represent Treatment 1 (control), T2 represent Treatment 2 (Organic), T3
represent Treatment 3 (NPK) and T4 represent Treatment 4 (Organic + NPK).

Highest mean number of tillers were
observed in treatment 3 that applied with 100g NPK fertilizer (3.773), it was
followed by organic fertilize (3.636) and organic fertilizer + NPK  (3.576) and 
untreated control (2.53). On the other hand in week 11

4.3 Plant Biomass

Plant biomasses
obtain by recording the fresh weight and dry weight at the end of the study.
The whole plants were harvested and cleaned to remove the soil that attached to
the roots. Analytical balance used to measure the Fresh weight of the plant,
the dry weight obtain after the plant oven dried at 800C for three
days to fully remove the moisture.

Note: Mean comparison of plant biomass
(Fresh Weight and Dry weight) of Kendinga Merah variety rice between treatments
of soil (control), organic fertilizer, NPK and Organic Fertilizer + NPK. ANOVA
table show there is significant different between treatment and control for
(Fresh Weight and Dry weight).

 

       
Based on the graph in figure 4.7, the mean comparisons among treatments
indicate there was significance difference between Treatment 1 with Treatment
2, Treatment 3 and Treatment 4. Organic shows the highest biomass reading among
the treatment. (Liu, Ren and Shi, 2011) in their study that there is a lower
root vigor of organic manure cultivation than chemical fertilizer cultivation in
20 days after transplanting, however organic fertilizer in form of granules is
more long lasting in rain fed paddy cultivation, its cause by the Inorganic or
“chemical” fertilizers are typically easily to get wash away by the rain
