B.   BACKGROUND

The food and nutrition
security has been set as one point for the sustainable development agenda in
2030 as the development of the Millennium Development Goals. The food and
nutrition security covers about the adequacy, accessibility, affordability and
the quality and safety of the food supply which is a basic needs of human, and
if the basic needs is not fulfilled then it will lead to another problems or
crisis. Start from the food and nutrition insecurity, the crisis will head
towards other social and
economic problem such as the hunger disease, the level of poverty, health
problems and wellbeing and also affecting the economic growth of a nation. It
would be roots problems that will linked to the creation of the new problems.
The targets in the Sustainable Development Goals are interrelated with each
other so that one target should be seriously handled as the food and nutrition
security.

Based on the data by UNICEF, one per nine people or eight hundred
million people are undernourished in the world today, about half of the children
under five years old in the world died from the mall nutrition, Three million
children died each year and people are facing hunger disease around the corner
of the world.  Meanwhile the agriculture
as the world largest food supply in the world are facing the land degradation,
declining soil fertility, unsustainable water use, and also the overfishing and
marine environment degradation that are all reducing natural resource base
ability to supply food. Besides the food distribution, the access to the fresh
water are also still limited. More than one billion people have no access to
the clean water, and ironically, Man polluting water is faster than nature can
recycle and purify it.

The food and nutrition security has been a big concern to the world
issues because it not only lowering the development process in the economy but
it is also a problem that would that threatening the human security and
survival. So that, the food and nutrition security is the challenges in the SDG
2030 because it linked and determined the success of achieving the other target
of in the SDG points. Through the food and nutrition strategy, the other
linkages target could be reached too. The level of poverty would decrease, the
hunger disease are right handled, the increasing of human health and wellbeing,
the distribution of clean water and sanitation, foster economic growth and as a yield benefits across
generations that will be the central to the be achieved in the 2030 Agenda as a
whole.

C.   RESEARCH FINDINGS

The strategy on food
and nutrition security for the sustainable development agenda in 2030 is not
only concern about the adequacy, availability, quality and the safety of food
supply but it is also concern about the stability of the food supply and the access
to it. Here are some solution I offer to the food and nutrition security.

1.
Education.

The population are
getting over load and the demand of good are getting higher. Through the
traditional agricultural activities, the farmer will not be able to fulfill the
food demand and adequacy the food supply. The traditional way produce in a
small quantity, slow in process, uncertain and have higher risk to fail. Then,
in this era, the education are needed and the used of the technology can be
help in order to increase the productivity, the quality and the stability of
the food supply. The education and the combination of the use of technology
give the new agriculture practices and efficiency to the farmer that help to
maintain the ecosystems along the production to create a sustainable system.
Through the education, the food production will harvest a good quality food,
increase the production to adequacy the needs, and create a stability of food
supply along with sustainability of the ecosystems.

2.
International Cooperation.

Bilateral,
multilateral and international cooperation taking a great responsibilities on
the success of the implementation on achieving the target of Sustainable
Development Goals in 2030. Based on the interest of each nation, the purpose of
these cooperation are aiming the same purpose, the development of the nation
and the welfare of its people. So that in order to achieve the common interests
and goals, every nation have to corporate to work together. The international
cooperation on the strategy on food and nutrition security can be formed:

·
The Food Distribution and Market Regulations

The market
regulations on the food distribution should be ruled where there is no trade
restrictions on the agriculture world market and also the elimination of the
tariff on agriculture. So that the food supply will be well distributed to the
every corner of the world and there would be no food scarcity, lack of
nutrition, mall nutrition and hunger.

·
Environmentally Friendly Industries

All cooperation
should lead to long-term development goals that are environmentally friendly
that need of the requirement of the agreed regulation framework which regulates
the disposal of waste production (the prevention, reduction, recycling and
reuse) in order to achieve environmentally friendly management throughout the
cycle life.

Through these
solution, the international community put a big role of the success of the
implementation to solve the issue on the food and nutrition strategy. The
solution itself aims for the international community itself, the people. It is
made for them and implemented by them. In here, the international organization
contribute on finding and approve the international standard on making the
framework regulations.

D.   REQUESTED DECISION/ACTION

Based on the exposure solution, the
international organization, the state, the non-state actor and the
international community should work together in aiming to achieve the
Sustainable Development Goals particularly in the food and nutrition security.

·
International
Level

The international level of the
determination of the regulations framework by the International institutions
forum which based on the international discussion that invite the state actors
and non-state actors, MNCs and NGOs. The conference will produce a certain
framework regulations.

·
Regional
Level

The regional forum will enforce the
implementation process of the approval regulations framework which is adapted
to the regional circumstances and situations.

·
State Level

The implementation of the approval
regional and international regulations framework in the international relation
activities and within the state itself. The international or the foreign
activities involve the food distribution and the tariff regulations. Within the
state, the educational activities is important, the infrastructure development,
the food distribution and the market regulations, surveillance and control is
decisive.
